I'm Late!

Just found out recently that someone I know has had multiple operations over the past year. Recuperating as we speak from surgery of my own, I cannot even begin to think how exhausted she must be. I wanted to send her a card upon hearing of her circumstances , and I immediatly thought of this plate of Artistic Outpost images. I hope she enjoys the spring colors and cheerfulness of the card and my heartfelt admission to being "late!" Thanks for stopping by. Yvonne

Parisian Birthday Wishes

We are celebrating my eldest's daughter's birthday on Sunday. I chose this turquoise cardstock as it is her favorite color. All of the images are by Artistic Outpost. I really like how you can mix images from various plates and they really work so well together. For this card, I chose the balloons from Paris Exposition. Balloons are very celebratory. I think they make a gala background to the sweet young lady in the focal image, which is from the Think and Wonder set. Hoping she likes her card! Thanks for stopping by. Yvonne

Birthday Blues

Hands down, this image by Artistic Outpost from the Generation Redux set is one of my very favorite. For this birthday wish, I decided to keep it simple, stamp the image with black ink on blue cardstock and mat the image with black to make it pop. A few flowers and buttons, some pretty background paper and a heartfelt sentiment complete my birthday wishes. Hope your day is going well. Thanks for stopping by. Yvonne

A Simple Birthday Wish

This was a first for me! I have never tried to smear Distress Inks on glossy paper as a background before. I chose Tumbled Glass for the sky and Shabby Shutters for the foreground. Then I stamped an Artistic Outpost image with black ink overtop of the Distress Inks. I wanted to keep my card simple so I added a sentiment, also by Artistic Outpost, and wrapped the card with blue and white twine to pick up the colors in the sky and matting. I think it makes a nice, breezy, carefree birthday greeting. Thanks for stopping by! Yvonne

Happy Birthday Wishes

A card for a guy is just not as easy to pull together for me. While sorting through my Artistic Outpost images, I came across this handsome twosome. I stamped the image in sepia ink on a green herringbone background paper and matted the image in brown cardstock attached by green photo corners. I selected some ledger background paper and added my sentiment topped off with three green buttons. My husband's staff member was pleased with his birthday wishes. Thanks for stopping by today! Yvonne
